For Remarkable People, 2024 was a testament to the power of teamwork, resilience, and a shared commitment to making a difference in the lives of our clients and candidates.
New Roles, New Opportunities
Last year, we successfully connected thousands of candidates with meaningful employment opportunities across New Zealand. From construction and manufacturing to hospitality and logistics, we continued to broaden our reach into new industries and regions. Notably, our focus on specialist roles such as Heavy Diesel Mechanics, Project Directors, and Excavator Operators showcased our ability to source top-tier talent for highly specific needs.
We also introduced several innovative campaigns to attract clients and candidates, including the “Beans, Brunch and Banter” initiative, which creatively highlighted our seamless recruitment process. These campaigns strengthened our brand as a trusted partner in recruitment.
Strengthening Our Team
Internally, 2024 was a year of growth and evolution. We welcomed new team members across various roles, including Talent Coordinators, Recruitment Consultants and Perm Specialists. Each new addition brought fresh energy and ideas, helping us deliver even better service to our clients and candidates.
One standout highlight was the growth of our Customer Experience Team, led by our dedicated Customer Experience Lead, Liv. This team has been instrumental in refining how we interact with and support our clients and candidates, ensuring every experience with Remarkable People is exceptional.
Celebrating Our People
Our commitment to excellence didn’t go unnoticed. Several of our consultants were recognized for their outstanding contributions, including receiving accolades like the Sourcr Recruiter of the Month and the RCSA award for Excellence in Safety and Wellbeing Culture for the 2nd year in a row. These awards are a reflection of the dedication and hard work our team brings to their roles every day.
We also celebrated the 8-year anniversary of Remarkable People, marking our journey from a small start-up, originally known as Remarkable Labour, to the thriving recruitment company we are today. This milestone was an opportunity to reflect on how far we’ve come and to set our sights on the future.
Supporting Our Communities
Giving back has always been a core value at Remarkable People, and 2024 was no exception. From supporting events like Mental Health Awareness Week to donating blood during local blood drives, we worked hard to strengthen the communities we’re a part of.
We also championed cultural celebrations, such as Māori Language Week, to promote inclusivity and respect for New Zealand’s rich heritage. These initiatives have not only brought us closer to our communities but also reinforced our commitment to making a positive impact beyond recruitment.
Innovating for the Future
We continued to embrace new technology and innovation to streamline our processes and enhance our services. From launching automated tools to improve candidate engagement to introducing new digital marketing strategies, we stayed ahead of the curve in a competitive industry.
Our Remarkable Rewards program continued to recognise and celebrate the hard work of our candidates, offering monthly prizes and incentives that kept motivation high. These efforts have helped us build stronger relationships with both clients and candidates, setting us apart in the recruitment space.
